As the name denotes, Industrial tanks are used for the purpose of storage of liquids, gases or other compressed gases. These tanks are generally huge cylindrical containers, standing perpendicular to the ground with a floating or fixed tops or roof. Industrial tanks are of two kinds: Storage Tanks and Structured Tanks. Storage tanks are either vertical cylindrical or horizontal cylindrical in shape. Usually a bund wall is created around these tanks to retain any leakage or seepage of liquids from the containers. These containers are made up of steel, concrete, glass re-in forced plastic or thermoplastic material.
